The Duo We All Need

Right before the start of the 2022 All-Star game, LeBron James, AKA the goat, made a comment about potentially returning to Cleveland, the team that drafted him number 1 overall in the 2003 NBA draft.

James before start of 2022 All-Star game
I don't believe this came as a huge surprise, as James and the Lakers are currently 27-31 on the season and the Cavs are one of the rising teams in the league. Not to mention that the Lakers star's contract is runs out after next season.
But, what's more interesting about the comment is that even if James does not return to Cleveland, he already has plans to play with the heir-to-the-throne, legend and mirror image of LeBron himself: Bronny James. He seems like he will do anything to make it happen.

Bronny, LeBron's eldest son, is currently a junior in high school. Under the current NBA rules, Bronny won't be draft-eligible for two more years. In the event the league changes the rules and allows high school athletes to go directly to the NBA, Bronny's eligibility and James contract would align like the stars in the sky... and they could be teammates.

I mean, can you imagine? Bronny is a replica of James on the court, from the way he walks, the way he dribbles, and of course.. the famous fadeaway jumper.

I for one would give anything to watch the two go to battle together on the same team. Teammates and father and son, are you kidding? 19 seasons in the NBA and LeBron is showing no signs of slowing down. Pair that with a hungry, son-of-a-legend basketball player and I'm not sure there's much more any die-hard NBA basketball fan could ask for.
Let's hope this works out. If so, we will be witnessing pure greatnesses and potentially the best duo in NBA history.
